You decide to go see your crush, Ino Yamanaka. You haven't seen her in over two weeks, and it's always a good idea to keep in touch. Besides, you might get lucky or try your luck again with getting a date with her.
The Yamanaka flower shop is closest to where you are, so you decide to go there. The trip there was pretty short, as it was just down the street from the ramen bar. You saw the sign hanging on the other side of the door say 'open' so you entered, hearing the small little bell ring as the door opened. You saw the lady you were looking for behind the reception counter, reading a magazine with her hand holding her head up in a bored pose. The place was completely empty. She looked up at you as she heard the bell on the door ring.
Her bored, unentertained face transformed into a smile, "-kun, hi!" She greeted, closing the magazine and walking around the counter toward you.
"Hey, Ino-chan. Just decided to drop by to see how you were doing." You say as Ino wraps her arms around your neck in a tight hug with you hugging her waist.
"Aw, that's sweet." She says once you both separate. "Good thing you came too, I was getting bored. I haven't made a sale all day."
"Well, it's fall, almost going into winter, so nobody would really want flowers in this weather." You tell her. Ino shrugs in agreement.
"So do you think that I should close the store and save myself from this boredom?"
You grin, "Yes. You can also prevent your boredom by going on a date with me, too."
Ino sighs with a smile, "You really like me, don't you?"
You grin goofily, "Heh, maybe... I just want a chance to show you that it'll be worth it." |
