A Pokémon chose your own adventure book | Lupine | 4

When Professor Aurea Juniper nearly got turned over to the Overseers it threw quite a scare into Red. He returned to the Prep-School for Young Trainers full of desperate hopes, but there was no such luck. Professor Aurea Juniper's idea for that year’s Special Class was extreme even for her. She divided the class into ten teams of three each, blindfolded all of them again—she was big on blindfolds—and had a shuttle drop them off at random places in the city. We were supposed to find our way to various checkpoints within a certain time without maps. One of the parents asked what this had to do with Pokemon, and Professor Aurea Juniper simply replied that everything was Pokemon. She confiscated all of their poke-gadgets, Trainer cards, poke-dex's and cash so they couldn’t call for rides or other assistance. They were on their own.

The weather in this region was temperate at almost all times of year. However, on this day one of those mists that is born in nightmares covered the forest paths. Red headed straight into it, felt it beading cold on his face. It was like walking through thick smoke, blinding and gray. Red just tried to push through it, not really noticing it much—after all, he had more important things on my mind. From the inside of the mist red could see shimmering lights of all different colors. Finally he stepped out of the mist—and stopped.
