Reluctantly, you realize that she's right. You start to stand up.
"Okay," you say. "Fine. But try anything, and we will have to have words."
She nods. "I promise."
You know that she is of that fortunately rare type of person who keeps promises, so you stand up and give her a hand. She stands. "All right. Now, we're going to need to find some place to land, because we'll starve if we stay in the ship. I'll scan."
She goes over to the controls and hits a few buttons. "There are two that we can reach. I can't tell you much about them, but they're both a little funny looking. I'll give you the choice between them. Do you want the sort of foresty one, or the more watery one?"
As you look at her body, you can't help wishing that she would offer a different proof of the fact that you're working together. But that would be a stupid thing to a suggest. For the moment, you ought to choose a planet.
