“Hi there,” You say cheerfully.
The guard sighs, replying “Did you need anything mistress?”
“Just letting you know that I’m going down stairs to look around for a bit” You say moving past him.
The guard looks surprised and says “Would you like an escort, mistress”
Waving at the guard over your shoulder, you say “No need” as you disappear down the stairs.
Coming to the bottom of the stairs, you give a mental sigh of relief, happy to be out of your chamber.
Looking around the hallway, you decide to go right instead of the left never having seen that direction.
For the next hour, you simply wander the halls never quite sure where you are. Once and while you cross paths with various servants, but all the do is looked surprised to see you and ask you if you needed help. You always smile while shaking your head and go just keep wandering.
Eventually, you find yourself coming to a corner when you hear a large crash like someone slamming a door come from around the corner. Stopping at the corner her per around to see what’s going on. Further down the hall you could see several people. You immediately noticed Lilith dressed in a black robe embossed with red runes. There were also three men who looked travel worn and they were carrying a large bundle between them. Also there was another woman there, a red head.
Unfortunately, you were too far away to hear what they were saying, and after several moments the whole group started heading down the hallway away from you. Curios, you decide to follow at a discreet distance to see what they are up too. Trailing after them you struggle, to keep up with the group while not being noticed. Eventually, you come around a corner and find they were nowhere to be seen. Walking part way down the hallway you couldn’t hear anything indicating where they went.
Disappointed, you turn around to head back the way you came, when you notice an open doorway.
Looking at the open doorway, your puzzled, because you could swear that door was closed when you walked by it. Curios, you creep to the door and glance into the chamber.
The, room was large and lit by three burning braziers. Tapestries lined the walls but it was dark enough that you couldn’t make out what the were depicting without entering the chamber. What did grab you attention was in the center of the room was a Statue of a nude woman sporting large wings, and before the statue was Raised platform made out of a black stone.
An almost electric feeling washes over you as you wonder what sort of depraved rituals Lilith conducts in this chamber. You start to leave when for some reason you find yourself pausing again, There was something about the statue that seemed to draw you in. You weights shifts……..
