Bending over, Gwen retrieves Lilith’s discarded dress, and standing back up shakes her head saying “Princess you don’t want to know.”
Standing up you walk over to Gwen and place your hand on her arm “Please Gwen, I know you probably hate me but please I need to know?”
Gwen sighs, and sits down on the bed looking up at you “Okay, ill tell you.” she says.
looking at Gwen, your momentarily entranced by the deep rose of Gwen’s nipples clearly seen thru the sheer lace of her dress. For a second, your taken back, to the night you saw them for the first time as Ludo kissed and caressed them. Shaking free of the memory, you could tell, by the arch look Gwen was giving you, that she knew exactly where you were looking.
You sit on the bed next to Gwen and she tells you “Two days after I watched you suck Ludo off, my father came to me, and told me that its was time and that my Fiancée was on his way. I told him that I refused to marry anyone but Ludo and to tell the Nocternians to go home. I fully expected my father to be angry, but instead he became frightened. He said then, that I in my girlish infatuation had doomed my house.”
Leaning back against the bed post, Gwen absently stroked her expanding belly with a faraway look in her eye, “I went to Ludo, and told him my father knew, and he got quite angry with me. He told me that I was stupid for telling him that we had been together and that we now had to flee. That night, we fled by coach making for the free cities, Ludo said only there we would be safe.”
“But you weren’t” You say rhetorically.
“No princess we weren’t “ Gwen answered “Three days after we fled, Ludo and I were staying at an inn, sharing a bath. All of a sudden, the door flew off its hinges and in strode a death knight.
“And the knight killed Ludo?” you ask.
Gwen shook her head giving you a mirthless smile, “No, after knocking Ludo out, the knight calmly told me that in return for not destroying my house, my father had surrendered three times my Dowry, Also I was given to my former fiancée to be done with whatever he wished.”
All you could do was stare at Gwen, aghast that you in your carelessness was responsible for this. “Oh God, Gwen I’m so sorry…” You say.
Before either of you could say anything more the door to the chamber opened, “Mistress Gwen, Her grace has finished her business and is returning to her chamber.” The guard said.
Gwen nodded replying “Very well I’ll be right there.” turning to you she says “well talk later highness.”
Standing up Gwen ,starts to leave the chamber, first stopping, to pick up the gown you were wearing when you arrived.
“That’s my Gown,” You protest.
“Not anymore, your clothes are in the chest the Mistress has decreed that you are to wear them.” Gwen says “Also, when your ready to bathe you can either ring or tell the guard at the door.”
Without saying any thing else, Gwen exits the chambers, the guard locking you in. For a long time, you sit there, staring at the wall pondering what Gwen told you feeling faintly sick to your stomach. How could so thoughtless a thing have such far reaching consequences. Gwen didn’t say anything but your pretty sure that Ludo told her why he seduced her.
After a while, you realize you reek of blood and sex, and you would love to feel the hot water caress your skin. But should you cow tow to everyone one of Lilith’s orders. You swore, that you would follow all of her orders, but should you assert yourself by not going to dinner or not bathing yourself before going. It was indeed something to ponder you tell yourself.
“Well, lets see what Lilith has left me to wear.” You tell the empty room.
