"I'll have the tour, I guess. I figure I'll be spending enough time in this room as it is," you pipe up, trying to be helpful.
"You absolutely sure about that?" Melanie asks with a twinkle in her eye. She then quickly glances at Sophie and the two giggle.
"Uh, yeah, I guess I am?" you answer uncertainly. Melanie seems a little disappointed, but Sophie gets a little excited.
"C'mon! I have something I want to show you then!" she says. She seems like she can barely contain herself, knowing what she does about where she wants to take you next. Melanie seems to be catching on to whatever the secret is, but you're still in the dark.
"What do you want to show me, Sophie?" you ask. She looks you up and down, and then makes a deep eye contact with you and smiles. You get a pleasant shiver at being watched so closely by such a pretty girl.
"I'll give you two choices, I guess," she says. "Back to Melanie's and my room? Or to the library?" |
