Making sure no one's around, Lyndsy concentrates in the direction of the Princess and the wizard. She says a few magic words as she closes her eyes.
She hears nothing at first, then recognizes the Princess' cool voice: "No, Jafar, this is too important a document to give to just anyone. Give it to me and I will keep it safe. Lady Green still has too many spies around."
"I'm not afraid of her," says Jafar indignantly.
"You should be, wizard - at least until we've taken care of her and her blonde friend."
Jafar cackles evilly.
Princess Kelly leaves his office carrying a scroll tube which she hands to Lyndsy. "Be careful with this."
It's all Lyndsy can do to not to just run away with it. She dutifully hands it over to old Thom back at home. She follows him to the Princess' study, but she doesn't see where he finally puts it. |
