I decided to call my friend Thomas, but no matter how often I'm trying to call him, he doesn't answer. "Damn, I thought he wouldn't be on holiday until friday..." I mumbled.
Then someone calls me! That must be Thomas and I answer the phone quickly. "Hi Tho.. ohh sorry, hey Julia, how are you?" It's Julia, my boss. "I know you have a few days off, but there's this rich woman that wants a model to show some lingerie and I don't know anyone more capable than you.." she told me. I could hear her begging voice.
Julia is a very nice young woman, and I really adore her, so that's the only reason I decided to accept. "Oh, I forgot", Julia hurried to tell me, "she will pay you well and I think she's going to place a nice order from our own collection!".
That suprised me. We had this new colelction, that Julia and some friends designed, but we had only sold it to a few customers. We were planning to take it to a lingerie show in Paris later this year. I hung up and rushed to the shower and got ready for what would become a life changing event. |
