10 year High School Reunion | gspfan84 | 3

You head back to Lisa's place. Its just a short distance from the school in your rental car. Lisa says she walked to get to the reunion because she tries to use any moment of her day that she can to get exercise.

"Yeah, that's an amazing amount of weight you lost. How did you do it?"

"I wasn't able to lose the weight for a long time. I would try diet after diet and always ended up gaining it all back. I had such an unhealthy relationship with food. Eventually I tried a program at this church that I saw advertised. It was only when I admitted that I was powerless and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart that I was able through him to find the strength to change my life. I lost 200 lbs, and the program coordinator was so impressed. I got to speak at a conference about how my faith in Jesus transformed me, and from there they made me a life coach in the program. I have a client calling me tonight. He's going through a sex addiction problem."

You nod as she continues to talk about her new life, but there's a gnawing feeling of disappointment in you as her revelation diminishes any chance of a good night for you.

Arriving at her house, the two of you start a pot of tea. She doesn't have a chance to do much before her phone rings and she goes to the study to take the call.

The tea finishes so your pour two cups and go looking for the study. You overhear Lisa's voice and you wonder if you should be respecting some kind of client confidentiality privileges. Before you make up your mind you hear Lisa say, "I understand. All of us have to deal with sexual thoughts like that. But that doesn't mean we have to act on them. Take me for example, when I was younger I used to fantasize about being forcibly taken. But my counselor helped me understand that those impure thoughts came from a place of low self worth. Once I understood and felt God's love for me, I was able to resist those thoughts. Now I never even self-harm."

There is silence for a while as she listens to her client. You wonder what he's telling her.

"Uh huh. Okay. Well just remember, God has a plan for all of us and we must all strive to live according to that plan to be happiest. All your sexual energy should be saved for the one that god intends for you. Okay. Yes. All right, we'll talk again tomorrow? Good night."

You go ahead and bring in the tea and take a seat next to her on the love seat. She's still wearing the snug fitting mini-dress and knee high boots. She slips the large gold hoop earrings out and sets them on the side table, then starts to let her hair down. You like the way the red curls frame her pixie-ish face.

"Difficult call?" you ask.

She nods as she gratefully takes the cup of tea from you.

"He's my most difficult. Most men have trouble controlling their sexual thoughts, but he is...something else. But I have to give him credit for his determination because he's stuck with this now for six months."

"Well, that's because he's probably...you know, while you're talking." You make a certain back and forth gesture with your hands.

Lisa looks at you, scandalized.

"He is not!" She groans and buries her face in her hands before saying, "He is. I need to stop lying to myself. There's a reason why he's always so out of breath when we're talking."

"My poor, gullible Lisa," you murmur teasingly.

You reach out and brush a curling red lock back. Then, boldly, you lean in and kiss her. Its just a brush of your lips against hers, but she surprises you by reciprocating. She deepens the kiss, wrapping her arms around your shoulders and pulling you over her. When the kiss breaks she presses her face against your neck and giggles.

"You have no idea, I had such a crush on you in high school."

"What, scrawny, nerdy me?" you ask with a chuckle.

She nods her head. "You were handsome, even back then. And very kind. And you're even handsomer now."

Your hand slides up her leg towards the opening of her dress and you lean in for another kiss, but Lisa twists her face away and grabs your hand to stop it.

"Andy, we can't do this. I want you but...its wrong," her voice trails off and she's just looking at you with those big green eyes.

You tell her...

(Truth) "Maybe its for the best then. I don't really see us having a future together. But I'm glad

(Truth) "This can't be wrong, because I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

(Lie) "Lisa, I love you. And if that's wrong, then I don't want to be right."

"I know you want this baby, and believe me I'm man enough to give it to you."
