"Hey, Chuck, you know what I've heard about this place?" The Sergeant asks as you enter Amazonia in the back of your APC.
"What's that, Sarge?"
"That they're a country of whores, and you don't even have to pay 'em."
"Leave it out, men," interjects the officer, Lt. Farquhar, "we're here to protect these people, not to add to their population. Understood?"
"Yes, sir" the Sergeant replies, then sotto voce to you "Goddam faggot."
The APC pulls into the central square of the most populous dwelling in Amazonia and the Lieutenant orders you to pile out.
"You heard the officer, men," the Sergeant yells "PILE OUT"
Once you and the men are in the square, Lt Farquhar pulls you to one side and says "Get the men fallen in, Corporal. The Sarge and I are going to see if there's a leader in this place."
You say: "Yes sir. Company, fall in!"
Minutes later, the officer and the Sarge return to the assembled men, with the Amazon leader. |
