"So we're even then?" you ask cautiously, Miranda nods. "Can I have my friend back then?" you ask.
“Of course,” she responds, “after all, I am going to need a partner in crime. What’s the fun in having absolute power over everything if you can’t share it with someone.” A mischievous grin appears on her beautiful face.
You can’t help but let a smile creep onto your face as well. “You mean you are going to give me some of the power?” you ask with excitement.
You can’t wait for the opportunity to feel the power flowing in your veins again. You really miss having total control over the world and especially the ability to fuck anyone you want. Once you’ve experienced something like that, its almost impossible to go back to normal. Since leaving your house this morning you have been more sexually pent up than ever and are really in need of some release.
“Hey, not so fast mister,” Miranda says raising up her hand in a ‘stop’ motion. The grin has vanished from her face and a much more serious expression is now in its place. “I know what you did with the power when you had it, and I’m still pissed. I’m not about to let you go there again.”
“But....” You start to say in whining protest, but Miranda interrupts you. “Listen,” she says, “you were my best friend before all this started and I want my best friend back. No, strike that,” she says pausing for a moment as she searches for the correct words, “ I need my best friend back. I know how you abused the power and I don’t want that to happen to me. I need someone with a conscience to help keep me in check.”
“Trust me though,” she says with the mischievous grin having returned, “that doesn’t mean I’m not going to have fun,” she motions around the airplane as if to provide evidence of her point, “but I need to have someone who can call me out when I’ve gone too far. That’s where you come in.”
You listen intently.
“So here’s the deal,” she continues, “I give you my word that I will never use the power on you without your permission. You’ll be fully aware of everything I do and immune from every change I make. You’ll always remember the past and know what’s really going on. So if I ever go too far, I want you to feel completely comfortable and safe to call me out on it. I might not always listen to you, but I swear there will never be any repercussions against you as long as you stay honest with me.”
She looks at you awaiting a response. Miranda is so incredibly gorgeous and sexy that its near impossible to deny her anything, yet you have your concerns about accepting this deal.
“I don’t know Miranda,” you begin, “you are asking a lot from me. This world is crazy enough without being stuck as the only person who knows the truth. If you make a change without telling me, people are going to think I’m nuts because I don’t immediately recognize things as being normal. Look what happened earlier on the bus when I was the only one who didn’t know about this class trip you suddenly created.”
“Hey,” she says, “don’t be so quick to turn me down. You aren’t considering the perks of being best friends with the most powerful being in the world.” Her eyebrow arches as she says this. Combined with the grin that is still firmly planted on her face, the sexiness Miranda is exuding is driving you insane. It is taking every ounce of your self control to keep yourself in check. You so want to jump on this girl and have your way with her, but you know you can’t. If you tried anything she’d probably send you off to some personal hell pit or something. Still, she obviously has something in mind and your curiosity has been more than peaked.
“Perks?” You ask.
