Glory Bound | Glados | 7

Glory Gal stopped on the roof of the building and looked at the explosives. "Well, these should be easy enough to get rid of."
With a grunt. she grabbed the edges of the belt that held the explosives around the naked girl, and gritting her teeth, tore the tough fabric, pulling them off and then slinging them casually over her shoulder. She glanced around. There was a building nearby, the roofs were only five feet apart. She could make it, even with a girl on her shoulders. She took a step back, and then, with another grunt, took a running start and jumped. She cleared the gap easily and landed softly like a cat on the opposite roof.

Nearby was a door, set into the ground. Throwing it open, Glory Gal glanced down and confirmed her suspicions that it led into the building. She gently let Niu drop down through the trapdoor. "You stay here. I'll go see what I can do about the kidnappers."

With the explosives still on her shoulder, she took a running leap and landed on the first building. She headed back the way they had come, towards where she had sent he kidnappers. Suddenly, a quiet beeping sound emanated from the explosives, but, rather than detonating, they hissed and surrounded her in a cloud of a noxious-looking green gas.

Glory Gal blinked twice before collapsing unconscious. The gas, clearly denser than the air around it, settled down around her collapsed body, ensuring that she continued to inhale the mysterious green cloud of smoke. It was clearly intended to have some effect other than just knockout, and a small red light blinked over and over on the shell of the explosives, a tracking signal, it seemed.

Who it was signaling and what the gas did to her, Glory Gal would not learn until she awoke...

Where and in what situation does our heroine awake?
