Keltar knew that he ought to start looking for a job, but this was his first trip off-world, and he wanted to see what it was like. So, he started walking around.
The spaceport itself wasn't particularly different from the spaceports back home, and at first the people didn't seme that different either, asides from the gloves or collars. However, as he looked closer it became clear that the collars weren't the only thing setting the Slaves apart. Their posture and body language was subtly but clearly submissive. Not only did they never look anyone in the eye, but they walked more haltingly, and paused just a tad whenever anyone came near them, presumably to allow their collars to be swiped.
Keltar also noticed that not everyone was native; he saw plenty of people who's bodies or clothing indicated that they were from other worlds, mostly from Lethdom's allies in the BDSM League, but a few were from independent worlds like his own home of Lovthre. This wasn't suprising. What WAS suprising is that some of them wore gloves like the native Masters. Keltar's curiosity was aroused. Did this mean that foreigners such as himself could be considered Masters on Lethdom? Could he use or purchase a Slave?
Just at that moment he paused in front of an information booth. Perhaps he should visist the booth and find out? Or should he keep walking? |
