You are a dwarf, masters of the deep, miners, smiths, warriors, and kings. Though the kingdoms of the Dwarves are in decline., they are still a force to be reckoned with. Deep under ground, the dwarves live in two cities, Orzammar or Kal Sharok. These are two cities of what used to be a sprawling under ground empire connected by tunnels called the Deep Roads, but since the coming of the Darkspawn, only these two cities have remained untouched, while the rest of the kingdom, including all the other cities, called Thaigs, and the Deep roads, have been conquered by the Darkspawn hordes. A dwarf can be any of the following ranks, called Castes:
Noble: The lords of the deep, they rule over the other dwarves through an assembly, and are in turn ruled by a king.
Warrior: The warrior fight Darkspawn in the Deep Roads.
Smiths: Smiths make weapons and armor.
Merchants: Merchants sell all sorts of goods.
Miners: Mine for iron ore and coal ad other metals and precious stones.
Casteless: The outcasts. You either live in the slums of the cities or the outside world. You are considered worthless to all other dwarves. |
