Haunting, Isn’t It? | dayeandknight | 6

Alex threw down the pile of clothes in his hands, planing to see it there was something he could use to cover up. He took a step but stopped when he noticed that his hand felt odd. It looked like one of the pieces of the uniform, a lace glove, was covering four of his fingers.

“Must have gotten caught when I grabbed the clothes,” Alex thought to him self before grabbing the drooping fingers of the the glove. Lightly tugging, Alex was surprised to see the glove wasn't coming off. He pulled harder but got the same result as before. He made one last attempt before giving up on it and changed his plan to finding a pair of scissors to just cut them off. He started toward the vanity but tripped and stumbled before he could get far. Something had caught his foot and kept it from moving, as if stuck. He had apparently stepped on a loose piece of fabric from the uniform, which was odd because it wasn't in the spot he put it. The attempt to untangle his foot from the pile was just as effective as his struggle with the glove. Kicking didn't work and neither did stepping on the pile with the other foot. In fact, When he went to remove the other leg, that leg got caught, too. He could feel elastic tugging on his ankle.

Maybe it was because he was not prepared for both of his legs to be ensnared, or maybe the drinks from earlier were still effecting his balance. He stumbled again but this time fell to the floor, landing on his back.

can Alex get free or do the clothes have other ideas?

          Hardly a fight
