Sammy had her flat at the groundfloor of the building. There was a large window from which you could look at her small garden at the back of the house. She had closed the curtains before she left, so there was no danger that anybody could see from outside what was going on. I had left Sammy just behind the entrance on the floor, while I was in the larger room that served as bed- and livingroom at once, with the window and door to the garden. I had expected a bigger flat, but it was just fine to me. After i had emptied my back, I heard her getting up in the front room. I did not expect that she would awake so soon. Probably she wondered how she got here, or did she renember the last minutes at all? Anyway, I heard her coming towards my room. |
