As Cora and Dzaya follow you out to the soda machines they are wondering about this and that, Most people would not suspect you to have got an important answer like that. And as far as Cora and Dzaya saw they had not even noticed you move your pen on the paper to write an answer. Sure Cora and Dzaya had both noticed you were watching the class, Cora had known you to often do that as did Dzaya. But they had not once notice you put pen to paper, or see the teacher wave you up as you finished it. Your a little confused in regards to the interaction you had with your teacher.
Cora decides to change subjects all together, she can feel your getting tense about it and simply says " I would like, a citrus drink something low in caffeine orange will work if that is all the machine has." You just nod and hit the button and watch and she bends over to pick it up, her as is pretty tight to her jeans which seems to be a rare thing for her.You also noticed it does not fit the dress code but decide it best to shake it off.As a whole you at least enjoy the view, Dzaya says nothing.
A moment later she does however say " I would like a cola please." So you hit the button for a coke and it slides down the shoot so the girl and retrieve the soda. She bends over to grab it, and she bends at the knees which clearly makes it impossible to see her ass. But either way, at least she said nothing about you looking at Cora's which is a blessing. You stare at the machine trying to decided what to drink and you can't for the life of you figure it out.
Cora finally asks " So what did the teacher say to you when you talked to him at the desk and got the pass?"
You shrug and say " he said something about seeing the three paths that come from the one, he said that by predicting possible out comes I might avoid trouble. He felt that I would notice it before it happens, and that I need to be aware."
Dzaya looks at you funny and then says " The Three of us, and the three Soda's it is three paths. And they all came from one action. Do you think he intentionally did that?"
You shake your head and say " He had to write your name on the pass Dzaya, thou he had already put Cora's as well as mine on it. He said something about having predicted that I had understood it and that I would answer the question correctly. When I asked if he did this to set me up or make me stand out he simply said he did neither but I did both. Or something to that degree it was kinda strange, I also get the feeling he intended for me to talk to both of you about this." You think about what to drink when a school staff member comes up behind the three of you.
As your about to pick something, the staff member says " Hall Pass!" You turn around to find that it is Nergui Bat, the school janitor a nice enough guy. He is not one to really rat on you without a pass if he finds you somewhere your not suppose to be thou if your in the open he pretty much sticks to the school rules.
You say " here you go Nergui check it for yourself."
He smiles and looks at it and then looks at the three of you then smiles again and says " No body is here, so no problem here." You look at him funny but he has always had a strange way with words, he walks off to start to sweep and clean and pick gum up off the floor. And you realize you have yet to figure out what to get.
Cora then says " You know as much as I hate you doing it you always get something like Mountain Dew or other products that are high caffeine, and some how you still manage to sleep during classes. But because the Teacher had said there is three paths that come from one event. It is important that at least in this case, to stick to a common response that you would normally commit here."
Dzaya on the other hand says " You face 7 options on that machine, much like the problem you solved earlier. You were given money to get a drink for each of us. Instead of you trying to solve the problem alone, you asked us what we wanted. But because you are unsure of an answer Cora has made a suggestion to solve it. I wonder if this is the kinda of thing, he was expecting us to learn from this."
You shrug and add " Team work is important but I did not realize he was trying to teach me a team working exercise I think he was trying to express another idea but I am unsure what it is. Maybe after I get this drink I will have a better answer?" You get the Mountain Dew and the three of you go find a table in the commons area and sit down, you put your hand in your pocket and pull out the change and look at it. You realize that he had also given you three equal values to buy the soda, thou you also realize that it is enough to buy another drink. Or a single snack for the three of you.
You then add " The change from the soda is also enough to get one more soda, or a snack from the machine, but in this case it only suggests two possible behaviors."
Cora shakes her head and then says " If we had been the only two here as the teacher had expected there to be, then there would be enough for two snacks and two drinks one for each of us. As in you and I, correct Dzaya?"
Dzaya thinks for a second and says " My switching of Math with PE, has made a third path or forced the one path for the soda or the snack to become three much in the way the teacher had suggested."
You then say " So for the change there is the possibility I use it to get myself another drink if I am still thirsty, or if Cora or yourself are then one of you would get one. Or I can get a snack and only one of us can get it, or we can split it. So in fact that is another 7 possibilities 8 if you count the possibility of us splitting a second soda. Then again, it also does not account for the likely hood that I have money or either of you have money to allow us to get one each are self. So that makes 11?"
A teacher walks up behind you and asks " what are you three doing?" it is clear to you without turning around that it is Mrs.Gagnon because you can hear her baby snoring softly, you hold up the pass and she takes it and looks at it and then asks " So what are you three doing?"
You are about to turn to look at her when Cora says " Mr.Tanaka gave us a math problem with 7 possible answers, three of them were the best way to solve it and to finish first. As a reward he gave him money for four drinks or 3 drinks and one snack and the instructions that often one path becomes three. And to predicted possible paths allows for you to see what is not often seen. Or something like that, but after buying the first three soda's we have found we went from having 7 paths a piece of 21 actions. To having 11 with what to do with the change."
You then say " correction, 12 actions he had suggested I keep the change. But then again later on at lunch or something this will come up again. And I will once again have two more actions making the options 3, because I could buy a soda or a snack or I could keep the change."
Mrs.Gagnon thinks for a moment and then smiles and says " I guess he is trying to teach you that sometimes there is another possibility. For instance, since this is my off period I could ask you three to come up to my class and help me get ready for my lessons. Now since I know all three of you are done with your work for your class and your pass instructs us to let you do what you want all I can do is make a suggestion."
You shake your head and say " What do you want to check that we did are home work or something?"
Mrs.Gagnon shrugs softly and says " I figured, this would give you one more option of the one you have standing. And if another teacher happens to pass and makes offer along with mine that makes one more option for you, for which you had has once again become three. And there is three answers or ways to to solve this problem."
You think for a moment about what you talked to Cora and Dzaya about in math and ask " Mrs.Gagnon I have a question you see, I had suggested or predicted that some how in order to help teach the social aspects or affects of over drinking and or social drinking and or alcoholism.So I want to know if you got Ms. Sakei to teach us practice classes with liquored beverages. And we have been instructed to drink or not drink are beverages after we complete the practices runs. To help teach us social aspects outside of are class, and it might explain how it managed to get past the school board and the parents."
Mrs.Gagnon smiles and says " It seems you picked a third path, and it is a prediction much like what your teacher had told you to try and do. Now if I were to try and tell you no, it was not my idea. I could be telling the truth or I could be telling you a lie, now because I am a teacher of the three possible truths or statements I can make. The one I should take is the only one a good teacher should take and be honest, Honesty is not always the same as the truth. An Honest statement is worth more then a truth, thou a lie if it is to save someone pain is often worth more then the truth or Honesty. And honest answers can allow for a lie."
Dzaya smiles at her and says " Alright then, so are we to solve a riddle or are we just going to figure your going to give us a real answer. Or do we have to follow you to your class to get a real answer?"
Mrs.Gagnon shrugs and says " I would tell you either way, thou I am sure it would be easier to do it in class. This will allow you to write it down and it will also allow me to give three perspectives before each of my classes to talk about a subject I had been waiting to talk about for a while. Thou I had not honestly been expecting it to be triggered by Mr.Tanaka's actions to try and teach a few of his students a lesson."
You shrug and say " Whatever, I am fine with whatever works for you."
Mrs.Gagnon smiles and says " Come on , Cora,and Dzaya lets go to my class room."
You follow your teacher up the stairs to her class two flights up, watching her hips move back and from side to side. They seem almost hypnotic, and a few times you almost feel yourself with the urge to reach out and touch her ass. And you realize something strange is going on, more so then you had thought. You normally don't respond to any of your base responses, let alone any that might harm you or others. She leads you down the Hall and into her class room, the four of you are greeted by her friend the school Nurse Ms.Parker. |
