A week passed after Kim left Ron’s house and no one Ron talked to had seen her since. She apparently had left a note at her parent’s house explaining “she was going on a secret mission alone and not to worry cause she’d be fine” or at least that’s how Kim’s mother explained the note to Ron. The note didn’t quite sit well with Ron though since after talking with Wade it was clear she had not received a normal mission.
Ron was still pretty upset with Kim but at the same time she was starting to scare him. He had been very crude to her that day even though she was in the most vulnerable state of her life and all she had wanted (Ron guessed) was for Ron to get the hint and propose. Instead, Ron called her a slut and a whore and kicked the love of his life out of his house.
Even though he was still tired sleep had been hard since Kim left so it was not uncommon for Ron to go to bed well past midnight and wake up at dawn. As the living room clock now read 1:34 AM Ron knew it was time to try and sleep again.
As Ron headed off to his room he marveled at the quiet of the house; no noise what so ever besides his own footsteps and his father’s snores. That left him even more surprised when Ron, after opening the door to his room, found Kim sitting diligently in his desk chair waiting for him.
