The morning after I had shown Ted the pics I felt terrible. I knew I couldn't tell AnnMarie and if I contacted Ted and asked him not to say anything to anyone, he'd know how concerned I am. I don't know him well enough to trust him. But weeks went by and I pretty much got over what an un-loving thing I had done.
A couple of months later I got back after a trip and AnnMarie said an old friend, "Ted" had called and said he was in town and wondered if he might stop by for a drink that evening. Of course she invited him. |
