Tanya called to her mom. "Mom, come here. We need to talk."
Her mom sighed and got up. "What is it?" she asked as she walked to Tanya.
"Follow me to some place private," said Tanya.
"Tanya what is this about?" asked her mom as they walked into a bathroom.
Tanya shut the door. "Listen to me. Don't ever question what I tell you. Just do what I say and do it happily."
"Sure thing!" said her mom with a smile.
"Good, now without telling Dad, go get me $100 dollars."
"Sure thing, sweetie."
Tanya waited, and eventually her mom brought her 5 twenties.
"Go back and do what you were doing," Tanya told her mom.
Tanya felt sorry for her mom, but she ran upstairs to pay Dimitri.
"Thanks," said Dimitri. He concentrated for a moment. "Curse is gone!"
"Thank god!" said Tanya.
Dimitri left.
A half hour later the phone rang. "Mom, it's for you!" said Tanya's brother. |
