Naruto's World | A.Dent | 6

If she was disturbed by Naruto’s behavior before, his current state was terrifying. On several previous occasions Tenten had witnessed Naruto becoming more wild and feral in the heat of battle, but something was different about this time. Despite the fear that was running through her body, Tenten knew she could not leave abandon her teammate. However, while she was not going to flee, Tenten was by no means helpless. With a quick flick of her wrist she summoned a large metal staff from the scroll she always carries. Acting quickly she put all of her strength into one fast jab of the staff into Naruto’s forehead. Normally such a blow would have done little to incapacitate a nin as strong as Naruto, but apparently most of his strength had dissipated in his efforts to fight off whatever it was that was afflicting him and he slowly fell backwards and passed out on the ground. Even with her colleague unconscious, Tenten decided it would be better to be safe than sorry. Using a long strand of unbreakable chakra wire she immobilized Naruto by fastening him to a tree.

Unsure of what to do next, Tenten decided that it would be best to set up camp right there, and to wait for Naruto to wake up. By the time night fell Naruto had yet to stir and Tenten began to have trouble staying awake. After several hours of waiting Tenten eventually fell asleep as the campfire died out.

Who wakes up first?
