You hit the speed dial button of your secretary's home number. If you're not at work, she's bound not to be as well.
"Hello? This is Janet." Your secretary's ever-positive voice brings a smile to your face. Or was that the thought of seeing her naked that flashed across your mind?
"Janet! It's here."
"Oh, hey ! How are you doing? The boss told me you were on leave for a week and that I should take the time off as well. What's up?" You can hear in her tone that there's ever so slightly more than just business on her mind.
"Well, actually Janet, I have a bit of a... proposition for you. One you'll probably enjoy."
"Oh. Really? What sort of proposition, ?"
"Well, let's just say I'd rather not discuss it over the phone. It's tied to why I'm not at work this week."
"Oh, ok. Sure! Well, shall I come to you or will you come to me?" You've both regularly been to each other's homes, with business and social functions. You even spent the night at her place once after a party that you accidentally got yourself hammered at (damn that punch!). You take a brief moment to think about this then make your decision. |
