Not knowing what else to do you decide to go watch TV. You make you way to the den and sit on the sofa. After flipping though the channels for a while you decide on a romantic comedy. You get so into the movie that you never hear your father walk into the room.
"What are you watching Lori?"
You jump as he startles you. "Oh, just some movie," you reply trying to sound relaxed.
"Mind of I join you?" he asks has he sits down on the sofa next to you. "So, how do you know Nancy?"
"I know her from work." Immediately you realize your mistake as you remember what your sister said about the girls at work she brings home.
His eyes lighten up. "So you go to the same job as her then."
Knowing its too late to change you story, you continue. "Yeah, we do the same kinda work."
"That means you're 21 too then?" he says as he slides a little close to you.
"Yeah, we're both 21," you say as he places his hand on your knee. You begin to panic.
